Suzuki Music is in partnership with the University of Melbourne to provide a Capstone subject in their Master of Music (Performance Teaching). The Master’s programme is an 18-month full time or 3-year part time course with intakes in February and also July. The course provides training to become a best practice music educator as a performer-teacher. In addition to the core subjects in performance and pedagogy, an elective (capstone) subject option is the Suzuki Music Primary Level Course. Candidates, enrolled in the subject participate in the Teacher Training programme conducted by Suzuki Music. This is an excellent opportunity to graduate with S.T.E.A.A. Certification in addition to the Master’s degree.
